What Is An AED?

An AED is an Automatic External Defibrillator.  AEDs are used to restore a normal heart rhythm after a victim's heart has gone into an abnormal, shockable rhythm.  AEDs are simple to use, as the user just follows the prompts, spoken out loud, by the AED.  By using an AED early in a cardiac arrest, the victim's chances of survival skyrocket.  Click the button below to view available AEDs!
